they're i maybe a fan but im not part of the team even though fans are important i just say they're
if people say we're i dont really care
Is say "they" as I've never strongly identified with any one franchise as my family moved around quite a bit when I was young, but I do fully understand people nor think it strange that people strongly tied to a team would say "we" when referring to them.
being from Dallas, i feel i have the right to say something like, "We're going to win the championship last year and we are going to win again!" but then there are those who say that i cannot say things like that because i'm not actually a part of the team to which i say, "you're stupid!" the fans are just as important as the players and without us they wouldn't have a job. so what's your view on claiming a team as your own?ZumaJones07
You can make a real post.... I'll be damned!
I say "we" if I'm discussing "my" team with a friend or other fan. If I"m talking to someone who's team is different from mine I say "they".
No, I don't use "we". I'm not on the team.imaps3fanboyyou are on the team though, sitting at home, you are on the team and help them to victory
[QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"]No, I don't use "we". I'm not on the team.ZumaJones07you are on the team though, sitting at home, you are on the team and help them to victory We are all on the team, think about where their money comes from and why.
When referring to most teams, I say "they". I do have an occasional slip up and say we though.
When I am discussing anything to do with the Texas Longhorns, I say "we". I have always been a Longhorn fan and am fixing to graduate from UT soon so I feel like I have the right to say "we". I am not implying that just because I attended there I can say "we", but that Longhorn sports have always been a huge part of my life and were a big reason for me to go there. Attending UT has made me feel even more a part of being a Longhorn.
I say "they" or the name of sport team.

[QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"]No, I don't use "we". Therefore, I'm not on the team. I'm not on the roster, I don't have an official jersey, I'm not on the payroll. Not on the team I don't even watch sports so idgaf anyways
[QUOTE="CptJSparrow"]I usually say 'I'.....inartisticThey say there is no I in team The letter T can fit I though haha There's a 'me', though, if you mix the letters up.
We when we win, they when they lose.
Now seriously, I think I rarely say "we", however i understand why some people can say it
