For like a month now I've been talking to a girl (we'll call her Rachel), she was pretty much the only girl I've ever been serious about but split up a couple years ago after high school. Long story, doesn't really matter.

The entire time we've been talking she never once mentioned she had a fiance, which I found out from a friend. It really surprised me because we both turned 20 recently and I just never thought Rachel would marry that young. Once I questioned her about the fiance she said she cares about him but still likes me.

Long story short she said she still has feelings for me and wants to see me tonight.

It's just I feel really bad, she's off limits and I'm too ashamed to even ask my buddies about it.

So what say OT, is it ever right to steal someones gf?

Always... People are not property... It is not stealing but winning affection. Usually it is not a great idea because you could get beat up though :(

I'd ruin him (inb4internettoughguy) but I'd probably let him kick my teeth in just because I'd feel so bad about it. It's not like I'm "winning the affections" of someones gf but interfering with a marriage...

Pretty much this. If she's engaged and she's saying she has feelings for other guys then she's probably got problems with her fiancé anyways. I think it may be a little scummy to try to start something with someone who's in a relationship and it might be a good idea to tell her to resolve her relationship problems first, but it doesn't sound like you did anything wrong.

The harsh reality is that it's always okay to steal someone else's girlfriend. Your life is about trying to do what is right for yourself, and not about trying to make everyone else in the world happy before you are allowed to be happy. Another harsh reality is that there will inevitably be consequences for doing this sort of thing, both good and bad. You've gotta decide if the good consequences are worth the bad ones.

In this case I would say they probably are simply because you don't appear to know who this guy is so you won't be losing a friendshp over it (though she most likely will). He's never going to like you for it though. Also if she is williing to leave him for you ou have to consider the possibility that she would do the same to you.

Ask yourself two questions

1. Will you feel like a douche for doing that?

2. Can you trust her knowing that she's already been interested in someone aside from her fiance?

If the answer to either one is "no" then don't do anything.

That said she's only engaged so is probably just trying to suss you out and see if she's making the right decision.

Honestly depends. The decision is yours. But if she can do that to her fiance, she's capable of doing it to you as well, so it might not be the most securest of relationships but there's really no way of knowing as perhaps her fiance didn't treat her the way she wanted to be treated.

If she is still engaged, don't put your dick in that damned hornets nest.

There is no guarantee that she will break it off with her current partner, or that she will be your girlfriend. If anything you will be an accessory that facilitates in her cheating on her fiance.

I suppose it's OK when it's consensual, i.e. the girlfriend is totally cool with you being her new boy-toy and it's alright with you as well.

Well, the girl that I like is with someone else, but not engaged. I'm gonna play the Forbidden Fruit game, which involves being that special friend, but she would have to be the one making the move.

What is the point of being with her when you know she already isn't trustworthy? Do you actually think you are any better than the guy shes with right now? She'll cheat on you the same way she is willing to cheat on her future husband, so what is the point of even starting the relationship? There isn't one. Just be friends and don't let it go any further than that.

It is impossible to steal a person's girlfriend without chloroform and rope. And that's defined as kidnapping, not theft. It is free will that a person will stray from another. Not saying it's a good idea to provoke it, 'cause you might get beat on for it, but it's not possible to 'steal' a girlfriend, they kind of have to consent to dating you.

Better to take her now than a year later when they're unhappily married.

Besides, if she's telling YOU this, I don't see how you're stealing it at all.

If she can go behind her fiance's back to see you she is not worth your time in my opinion. If she does that to someone she's supposed to marry then she has the potential to do the same to you. She held back letting you know she had one in the first place, the whole situation just seems wrong and i'm sure you can do better than someone who obviously is sneaky.

But anyways, to answer your question, if you can steal someone elses bf/gf then that person obviously doesnt want to be with that person anyways. I don't think it is right to try and seduce someone away but in your situation it's her leading you on. She's in the wrong and it's your decision whether or not to get involved with her. You're technically not stealing her, she obviously doesnt want her fiance if she wants to meet you again and says she still likes you.

If she's slutty enough to leave her fiance for you, then she is probably not worth being with, as she might do the same to you.
