I am talking about real life killings and it just seems to be growing everyday, any idea about when will it stop? it can't be stopped?mohan88
no, and it would be naive to think otherwise
It's Ying Yang--can't have the good without the bad. feryl06...that's not really the point of that symbol
really, please enlighten me. Thought it meant dark and light, just to simplify it, which is why I said we can't have a world without violence and non-violence.

I doubt it's actually growing everyday, it's just that it's much more apparent that it's a daily occurrence thanks to our forms of communication such as television and the internet. These days it's easy to get information to the general public within hours, whereas before in times from the 19th century, we had to rely on written communication and Morse code.
Before that, you had to rely mostly on written communication, which could take days, weeks, or even months, so people back then could not possibly be totally aware of real world issues in such an instantaneous manner that we are capable of doing in this day and age. So that would mean that murder and other various crimes would be something that is more apparent to a more local community, whereas these days, it can easily make national television.
But the funny thing about it, is that murder and other various crimes weren't broadcasted on national television as much before the 1970s. Hell, my Speech/Debate teacher had an occurrence in his town when he was a kid where a schoolmate of his pissed off some old resident of the town, and the old man shot the kid and killed him, and it didn't make national television. Stuff like this only seems to be growing because it's pretty much all the media cares about. We're practically trying to scare ourselves to death.
But when it comes right down to it, it hasn't really been getting worse, it's just been getting more apparent. But as for an answer to your question, it's probably not going to stop unless there is some sort of crisis that requires all of mankind to work together to survive, but even then there will probably be small disputes and crime prevalent. Or if all humans were exterminated, there'd obviously be no more crime and violence.
I see what you did there. Kill the murderers. Ha.Damn those murderers! We should KILL 'EM ALL!
