When you turn the doorknob and open the door to your home, at the end of the day, what is the first thing you think of? The first thing I do is throw my stuff near the side of the door and use the internet.
I put my books on the floor, turn on my PC, then check my mail and gamespot. I check slickdeals to see if there are freebies. I do all this to kind of relax after a day of school.
When I was at college these last two semesters (school's out now), I would drop my backpack on my side of the room, listen to pandora for a while, then do homework.
After picking my the older daughter from day care, I'll play with both of them, and if there's no food on the fridge I'll cook something. And of course I'll kiss my wife :)
What I'd like to do (even for a while) after a day's work is rest, but that's just not possible nowadays...
When I was still In school, I usually grabbed a snack directly after walking in, then went and sat in front of the PC either gaming or on the internet, for a couple hours.
1. kick off my shoes outside of my front door 2. Open the door 3. Drop my wallet, keys, ring, phone, chewing gum and watch on a side table. 4. Put on some music 5. Turn on my laptop 6. empty the dishwasher 7. cook me and my boyfriend some food
Usually its saying hello to the dog if she comes to the door to see who it is. Other than that, its putting my bag at the bottom of the stairs to go up with me later.
I pretty much think about using the internet and check if any of my family friends has contacted me through email. It's always nice to find an email from a family member or friend waiting for you :)
