...do you put the pizza directly on the rack to bake, or on a pizza pan?

On a pan. I'm always concerned about stuff spilling over and burning on the oven.

Same, the pan that I have has little holes in the bottom so heat can dissipate and stuff.

Whenever I make frozen pizza, I wrap it in plastic and stuff it into a cardboard box and ship it out in dozens to nearby stores.

What's this talk about ovens?

The rack. Gotta love crispy crust. Though I hate when the cheese spills over and burns on the oven and my smoke alarms go off. :(

I put it on a cookie sheet as I'm not particularly fond of super crunchy crust and it saves me a lot of cleaning time in the oven.

Put the pizza pan underneath it, or some foil, on the second rack. It will catch any spills....

I have a HearthKit Stone Oven Insert in my oven that I bake pizza and bread on. It's the **** (gosh darn censored cheech-n-chong word) in case you didn't know.

I don't eat pizzas often, and I usually make them from scratch. I will eat the occasional augmented frozen gourmet pizza(s) if family or friends are coming over to drink my beer or something.

On the rack, and thats why I never buy those McCain ones. They always seems to fall apart on me, the No-Name ones taste better, and are sturdier.

Oh, and for a twist, I turn it on Broil for the last 3 min. I'm an outlaw.

Ummmmm, yeah. It makes the top really bubble and crisp, and the little bit of cheese char flavor is to die for. With italian sausage, mushrooms, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes PLUS cheddar cheese.

It's good. There are two ways to do it. For a light garnish or flavor accent, use rinsed fresh spinach leaves, tucked into the other toppings so that they semi-cook in the fats from the meats and cheeses. For a more substantial spinach flavor, boil it first in a small amount of water until tender with some salt, pepper, garlic, and a dollop of basalmic vinegar, then drain, press all liquid out between paper towels, and add in abundance to a mushroom (shiitake and portabella, sauteed) and cheese (mozzarella, fontina, and gruyere) pizza. Consider adding some prosciutto too. Very good.

When I moved into my apartment at the beginning of the semester, my parents bought me this kitchen set with pots, pans, cookware and such, and it came with a pizza pan. Otherwise, I'm sure I'd just stick it straight on the rack...

That sounds very good. I'm not big on spinach, but I'd be willing to try that.

We've actually been trying our best to inhance the metallic taste of our razor blade flavored pizzas and reduce the infectious taste. It's been a long hard road but I think pretty soon we'll have it down pat. And since you have such a sad story concerning our least favorite flavor of pizza, we'll be sure to send you a fresh version of the improved one. Thanks.

I don't make frozen pizza: I make it unfrozen.

I just put it directly on the rack. Works fine for me.

On a pan. Once that's done, I take it off the pan and put it straight on the rack for an extra couple minutes. Gives it a nice crisp crust.
