No, when I was waaay younger Neopets didnt even exist. I basically got my brothers hand-me-down toys.

i played with something called a giga pet, i remeber taking one of those things to school. my animal died because i couldnt get out of class to feed it2ndWonder

I remember those.  I had an old school Digimon. Like those first little square things they came out with.  I was the first and only one of my group of friends to have my digimon become an ultimate.  Then it died after fighting my friend's digimon, which caused my friend to give me crap about it for months afterwards. :P

I even had accounts with all my money since I was to cheap to buy food , so I went to the soup kitchen.

I had a LAb Raty, but a massive hack happen and my bank became teh epic fail 

I played it once.

I think my sister had one of the cheap off-brands - I tried playing with it, the only part I liked was when it showed a little turd on the screen - my favorite game was throwing a machete into loose gravel - over and over

I still play Neopets!
