Funny but I've been looking at stores and Walmart and others and no one carries cassette tapes any more ? I mean they should at least have some since most stock cars still have tape decks. Does anyone know where to buy these now adays ? I mean they still have CD's why not cassette tapes ?

My local FYE has a tiny section for tapes, all the way in the back.

I think ebay/amazon is your best option.

We sell them where I work, and we're owned by Walmart.

Are you looking for blank tapes or the latest Skid Row album? I've seen blanks at Dollar General, but the only places I know of that routinely stock music on cassette are truck stops.

To be honest I look at charts by the RIAA and they say cassettes sell better then LP's which I doubt that since I have no clue where to get tapes since no artists put there music on tape anymore. Plus that's a low blow....CD's are still worth something cassettes don't have much meaning. I guess if you want old stuff on tape ebay. Since I tryied getting a system of a down demo off ebay not too long ago.

Why do you want them? Do you just like the format? Because aside from that I see no reason for them... CDs have all the advantages that a cassette tape has (physical media, etc.), none of its disadvantages, and a bunch of other pros.
