I'm talking about movies from the 1930's - 1950's.... Like the Original King Kong and How to Kill a Mocking Bird etc... Because I think the earliest movie I have ever seen is Rear Window ( 1954 ) and I want to get into some of the old classics :D

I typically order them from Amazon or various independent dealers if they're hard to obtain, and if they're not too rare I'll just pick them up from some local retailers such as Amoeba's or Fry's.

Now you can watch Edwin S. Porter's The Great Train Robbery from 1903 and that can be the oldest film you've seen until you watch some various shorts from the late 1800s.

I get mine from a store near me here in Toronto. They have everything, even old Charlie Chaplin films.

This. I've got Netflix and it is absolutely amazing. Great selection (a lot of the movies streaming too) and quick delivery.

I see them offered for sale all of the time where I buy my DVD movies. I buy from Movies Unlimited.

Um, they're not really that hard to find. Some obscurer ones may be out of print but Amazon has a great selection of classics. It's where I get all mine from anyway.
