The closest store that has the game I'm looking for. That usually is GameStop.

Gamestop usually. Or if, on rare occasion, they're closed.. Gamecrazy is usually my second choice. Just because it's closer.

Usually Gamestop, or Wal-Mart or somewhere else if I'm getting desperate. Like, when Animal Crossing: Wild World first came out, I searched everywhere and finally found it in Circuit City, a place I normally would never go to.

There isn't a Gamestop close to me, Wal-Mart employees tend to be clueless about games in my experience, Best Buy is ok but I like EB games the best.

So yeah, EB games most of the time.

EB Games is probably my most frequent shop. Even though I constantly spout out how much they suck, their still a little better than Wal-Mart. Theres a Rogers Video close my school/job thats 20 minutes away, though they have weak selections. I only go there if I'm lazy. Best Buy has the best console games IMO. Their often cheapest and they get everything. .

There's no nearby game stores, so I generally get my games at Superstore (which is still a 30 minute drive away  ). I used to get them at Wal-Mart where they were cheaper, but they recently closed it, and opened up a Wal-mart Supercenter on the outskirts of the city, where it's not nearly as accessable by walking from the bus-stop.

Zellers always has games on the first day of release, I remember one time, i went to buy Brawl on the first day out, and EB games had a line up of about 20 people. I was like, damn. So i went to Zellers, and it was empty, nobody in the store, and the had a stack of Brawls behind the glass. Good day

Big retailers generally have more copies, and are cheaper. However, game stores generally have games at release, a larger library, second-hand games, and more obscure games.

I like shopping in Gamecrazy. I can find a little bit rarer of games at cheaper prices.

If Im in a hurry, and what I want isnt hard to find, Gamestop. Its more organized.

I like Target, because on those really big launches like Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Halo 3, everybody lines up at the GameStop across the street at like midnight and waits in line for like an hour to get their copy of the game. Then, the next day, at like 8 a.m., I can walk into Target and there'll be 12 copies of the game, I'll pick one up no hassle, and laugh at those guys.

Fry's Electronics is also pretty good, since they have a wide selection of PC Games, and they also tend to have the less mainstream console/PC games (like, they were the only store within 50 miles of where I live that had No More Heroes in stock).

Used to buy them at EB Games years ago. Now I buy most of my games on Ebay. I've got some pretty great deals on new and used games.

GameStop exclusively. It's the only place other than Wal-Mart that sells games near me and I hate that store so I stay as far away as I can from it.

Wherever is cheapest. Before getting a game I always check CAG and slickdeals for sales and coupons. By doing that, you can usually always say %10 on any game you buy at gamestop. By the way for anyone looking to buy a xbox 360 game any time soon, look for the $10 off 360 software coupon for Target.

Depends...I never buy the day of release from gamestop (I always go to best buy or walmart) because gamestop almost always says " Well, You had to RESERVE a copy to get one today"...something which I always found ironic considering the Best Buy within walking distance will sell me that exact game without having to reserve it.
