For me, I get most of my TV-based news from reliable sources such as The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. As for the rest, I just go and look up stories on the internets.
How about the rest of OT?

The Colbert Report....obviously.
On the internet its usually my homepage but i usually get on youtube/gamespot so i don't even bother reading the links.
Mostly the Trib and Times online, some from indy news sites, and I'll occasionally watch my local PBS news or Brian Williams, although in the case of the latter I find it a bit too abbreviated and commercial-filled. I also watch the Report and Daily Show, but I don't consider them my source for news.
I'm a cable news junkie. I switch between, CNN, MSNBC, Comedy Central, FNC. I normally don't watch the network nighty news shows but sometimes(about once a week) I'll watch Brian Williams and the CBC version called The National.
The only news I get off the internet is sporting news From Yahoosports and foxsports.
Mostly from the web. From sites like www.VG.no and www.Dagbladet.no
And i usually watch the evening news on NRK1
