I am a regular at Diamonds Coffee Shoppe. They have 4 rooms and bottomless coffee. So it's generally a nice place to read a book. I hang out there on an almost daily basis.

At home.

Even when I go outside I dont hang out anywhere. I am either at university or constantly using the mass transit system to get to places.

Home. Most the time. Or I will go to the Stone Pony bar which is a half hour away on roads riddled with deer and bear. *sighs* What I do for a good atmosphere! Anyways, there or the bowling ally, where i can bowl, play darts, and play billiards and drink, and even gamble- but not a lot cause those games are stupid.

Usually I hang out at home, and if I'm not at home, I'm at work. Or at the Audi dealership creeping around to look at their gorgeous cars.

I work in a coffee shop and also spend some of my free time there as well, usually studying or chatting with the other workers. Other than that, I spend a bit of my time at church. Being that I am currently living at home many miles away from most of my friends, I do not hang out many other places. Back in college I would often hang out downtown, at various coffee shops, waffle house and huddle house late at night, a philosophy club/book store, a tobacco shop, the "hookah house," etc.

Yea Wisconsin sucks cause of the collateral damage to vehicles these animals can cause. We got other "big" animals but they stick to forests usually.... which is where i live, but i rarely see them on the road. its usually deer or bear.

I live in PA, so I've seen my share of deer's along the road that have been hit, but I honestly can't imagine what it's like to get a freaking bear with your car. Would the bear even move? It'd be like running into a brick wall.

Depends on the size of the bear, and how fast your going. If your going 60, the bear will move.. not a whole lot but it will. If you got a big vehicle, like van or a truck, your a bit better off. If you got a car, your somewhat screwed. It really does matter the size of the bear on what damage is done though. A "normal" bear around here is about 400lbs. They do significant damage but you -can- drive away from it. the bear thats been in my yard, however, is huge. You would be needing a tow truck.

Actually its damn close to Shell Lake, Spooner. You basically gotta go through Spooner to get to Shell Lake. I live 30 min from Spooner. Shell Lake is like 5 min from Spooner.

lol shoo a bear away. I wish it worked that way ^_^ .... We do all we can here to keep bear encounters low, we dont put out bird feeders :( , and keep the lid flap things on our garbage bin closed. My neighbor, however, likes to feed the birds, and I believe he actually baits the bears. *shakes angry fist*

Yeah, I've seen videos of bears in backyards, and the funny thing to me is their standing behind a glass door, like that would really stop a bear if it wanted to get in your house.

Honestly, I'd just grab a .50 cal sniper rifle and fire it in their general location, I don't think bears would be coming around much longer with the noise that thing releases.

If a bear wants in, it will get in. Thats why feeding and baiting bears is highly discouraged. Usually, if you make a noise they will run off, BUT if its a momma bear with a cub around, then... well.... yea. its not so awesome. Angry mama bear = scariest thing evers.

Usually I hang out at work where I do work and stuff. But if I'm hanging with friends its usually my house or theres on the porch or my local Irish pub shenannigans. Sometimes I go downtown or to the casino but not that often.
