Depends on what you like to do. For sight seeing I would go to SF, that place pretty much got everything: rich in culture, photographic scenaries, good food, pleasant weather, you can even do the tourist stuff at the fisherman wharf and the surrounding area, or you can drive south along CA1 and take in the scenary along the way. I love SF so much :D
