[QUOTE="Junkie_man"][QUOTE="AlternatingCaps"][QUOTE="KillaHalo2o9"][QUOTE="Junkie_man"][QUOTE="Nagru"][QUOTE="Junkie_man"] Doesn't change the teaching though. If Christians are happy to deny h0m0sexuals human rights because of passages in the bible with no connection to Jesus then they should surely give their money to charity.

If I remember correctly, Theists donate a significant amount more than Atheists.
I don't know if that is including Tithes or not.
Is that per person? There are far more theists than atheists.
Yep thats the way it should be.
Yeah, it's much better when we have more people that believe something a magic book tells them to than when they follow ideas based on tested and retested experiments and theories (not even saying that's necessarily it!) based on proven facts.
Yep, that's the way it should be.
Quite true. Giving money to charity essentially through fear has to be the worst reason to do so.
Exactly. I'm an atheist and me and my family have given hundreds of hours and lord knows how much (maybe a bit ironic that I choose to use this expression for this discussion?) money to charity because PEOPLE NEED HELP, not because I want some guy in a robe to tell me I'm going to paradise after I die.
If God really is omnibenevolent (and exists), then you deserve to go to paradise a lot more than an awful lot of Christians.
