I'm planning on studying abroad next semester but im not sure where i should go. I've traveled to UK, Italy, France, and Spain before and wouldn't mind going there for a semester but i kind of want a new experience. I'm thinking either Germany or Australia, what do you guys reccomend? And for anyone who has studied abroad share your experience!

My wife and I studied in Germany, France, Belgium, and The Netherlands a couple of summers ago. All were great experiences.

It could depend a lot on what exactly you want to study.

I'm majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Psychology. I love traveling to places with beautiful scenery, Italy was a blast when i went last summer and traveled the countryside. But i also want a place that has a nightlife and not exclusively countryside.

I visited a family member who spent a year at University of Auckland in New Zealand. It's definitely a beautiful country yet also expensive.

I would recommend Sweden as they have excellent education system and infrastructure plus the english language is spoken by the majority of the population. If you want night-life though and since you' ve been to Spain and Italy I would say Greece but apart from night-life it pretty much sucks. I have no idea about countries outside Europe though.

It's your decision. Make sure it's a school that will help you in your educational pursuits.

If you don't mind an expensive education with a lower quality compared to other countries. Don't forget you will be surrounded by idiots. UK would make a better choice.

I don't think you know what studying abroad is. The price is whatever his school is charging. And you're mixing up our k-12 schools with our colleges.

That's the dumbest thing ever. All accredit schools teach the same material. Regardless if you go to Princeton, Harvard, NYU, or UF you're given the same education.

I'm under the impression that the quality of U.S. post-secondary education is fine. Expensive? Ohohohohooo yes.

Israel, Turkey, China, Japan.

I've been to the first three and it was an interesting experience. As for Japan, I've never been there but from what I heard, it's an incredible place to visit.

get out of your comfort zone, hit up China or India or somewhere no so Western-centric, not to say Germany or Austria wouldn't make kickass places to go, but it was just a suggestion

Actually you could travel there but it's very difficult.

Also you'll be escorted with guides all the time so there's no privacy and any wrong move can have dire implications. China isn't that bad compared to that so visit China instead. Walk along the Great Wall and learn some Chinese culture and their language.

Why in the hell would you want to go to Pyongyang, though?

The city isn't even that nice. There are way better, bigger, and nicer cities to go to where you don't have to be as worried about disappearing into a concentration camp.

I know I'm exaggerating, but seriously, what's the reason? Is there one that I'm just not aware of?

Someplace with nice ladies so you can study aBROAD, get it? Study a a broad, like a woman, cause broad sounds like brawd which is a word for a woman that old people use? Funny?... No? okay... :(
