This was reported on major outlets the day it came to light and was compared to the Ray Rice situation almost immediately.
A large part of the difference in outrage you are perceiving likely stems from the fact that she has been charged and is going through due process whereby the NFL attempted to hide Rice's actions (in an attempt to protect the NFL brand) and initially gave him just a two game suspension. Some of it was made worse still by the fact that the NFL disciplinary guidelines codified stricter sentences for substance abuse violations (largely viewed as lesser crimes), thereby giving the impression that the NFL did not (at the time) take such transgressions as seriously as they should.
Huh? There has been "outrage" and this has been reported on, and she has (as someone said) already been going through the legal process with this. But of course "BLAH! WHYA REN"T PEOPLE CALLING HER OUT ON THIS ONE PARTICULAR FORUM? CAUSE SHE FEMALE???ANPIOIB I HAVE NO LIFE< BLAH!!"
No one really gives a **** about women's futbol.
Thought this thread would be about Adrian Peterson's recent shit.

MRAs are such a joke.
Why is there always a topic about people not getting outraged about something when people get outraged about a separate event? It always feels like a half-assed defense of people who agreed with the original thing people did get outraged at.

yup
LMAO...Ray Rice DID get "police processing". Get your facts straight. You're talking out of your ass, as per usual.
you're telling me that only counseling is a sentance that's appropriate? You're talking out of your ass mate, as usual. Get your facts straight...

The **** are you talking about? He was charge was aggravated assault and could have received jail time but it was lessened to counselling because his wife never pressed charges, he has done work for his community and he had no previous record. Which means you were dead wrong about him not going through police processing. So don't even attempt to try to tell ME to get my facts straight when it is quite clear in this thread that you had no idea what actually happened during the Rice case, nor did you actually know that Solo's case has received national attention. Your dumb thread crashed and burned, so for your own sake "mate", you might want to abandon ship before you make yourself look any dumber.
Please answer my question first.
Getting a fitting sentence to fit the crime, which in my opinion he didn't
@The_Last_Ride: What do the police have to do with sentencing?
You know what i meant
FYI, he received full and complete police processing. He was arrested, investigated, charged, and indicted. I'm not sure what you expect the police to do here.
i perhaps worded it wrong, i meant he should have gotten a fair punishment

I don't necessarily disagree with that. This is the kind of bullshit that happens when the victims of domestic abuse are allowed to influence district attorneys and the courts.
this might be the one thing we might agree on then?
The guy shouldn't have just gotten a slap on the wrist, record or not. He punched someone until they were unconscious. That's jail time in my book
OP-Posts link to a YouTube video of a major news outlet reporting on the situation asking why no major news outlet is reporting on the situation...
Did nobody else catch this?
Quite frankly I've had drunk family outings get a lot more rowdy. If you ask me, the only reason this is actually getting reported is because she's famous. It's sisters being sisters and a niece(or whatever) that interviened and got hit in the process.
