Where were you when Michael Jackson died?

I know, I know, I don't even want to think about it either. But Im curious to know, where were YOU when MJ past to the other side.

As for me, I found out at my importing/exporting job. My buddy Vandelay told me. All in all, I was destroyed.

I was out shopping. I got some pants that day and one of my favorite shirts. It was also the day I bought Gears of War 2. I came home was like "whoa he's dead?"

I was in naxxaramas on WoW. Sad I know :P

I was at work, and my RSS feed alerted me with the news. It was a sad day when the king of pop day.

I couldn't tell you. His death didn't have any profound effect on me so that explains why my location doesn't stand out.

Believe it or not a few other people, and I had just finished watching "Fat", and "Eat it" (two MJ songs spoofed by Wired Al) When my mom went to check the news, and there it was, headlining story, MJ dead. I am not making this up, it really happened.

I was in the car heading to my cousin's restaurant to celebrate my grandparents' anniversary. I think I heard about it from the radio. I don't know why I remember it because I don't consider his death to be a national tragedy.

I was at home, and later that day I went to the mall with my dad and my sister and I bought a couple PS2 games.

I was 13 years old, and had just graduated middle school two days before. :P

I have no idea where I was when he actually died. I found out because my sister rang me up to tell me the news.

I was on a range in Camp Pendleton, California when I found out about it. It was cool because I actually got to see his hollywood star that next weekend, it was all covered in flowers and pictures and it took probably 10 minutes to even walk past it because it was so packed with people.
