This is just a random thought that popped into my head, and knowing both places have about the same number of inhabitants (around 33 million people), and both are discussed and brought up frequently in the forums, which one seems like the better choice to live in? At least from speculation. Personally I'm from California and would give Canada a try.
California. I was born in Napa and have lived in NorCal for most of my life, I love it here. Canada is one of the few places besides California where I would consider living though.
Having been to both places, (Toronto, and Los Angeles to be specific) I think I'd lose my mind in California, and I don't have a negative thing to say about Toronto, so I'd much rather live in Canada.
I love the weather in California. I love some of the various lifestyles and I love the variety and the fast-paced lifestyle. However, I don't know a lot about Canada enough to say I want to live there.
I don't think the poll results are accurate because apparently most of the responders are Canadians. I guess you guys saw the name of your country in the title of the poll so you decided to click it and vote for your country. No offence.
id have to actually visit cali before i could make that choice, and it would also depend on what kinda house i would get, but right now i would say canada :P
Canada seems like a really nice place to be. I want to go there some day. Seems quiet.
But California has warm weather, and fake boobies and stuff :o

What is Canada like in the summer time? I could live without the fake boobies.
In the summer its usually around 25-35 in most provinces, mainly depends on where you live, Far east is nothing but forests and mountains, then its mountains and praries, then its nothing but praries for a couple provinces.
