Same here, I'm really hoping they get this one right!
Trailers look good....[QUOTE="SaintLeonidas"]Man of Steel > Thor: The Dark World > Iron Man 3 > Wolverine >>>> Kick Ass 2 solidruss

Dang, i forgot about Thor, we should be seeing some kind of trailer soon
They released the first poster the other day, trailer expected this week.coupling my personal bias on favorites, and based on what trailers and posters and info i've seen/read.
Â
Iron Man 3 >>>> Man of Steel > Thor 2 >>> Everyone else
Â
not really a fan of Kick Ass, and i will check out Wolverine if i hear good things. If anything it'll give me a reason to go somewhere on the weekend.
Â
but the latest Iron Man and Superman trailers have got me excited, and i am not often interested at all in Superman.Â
Man of Steel.I somehow relate to supes as I am treated as an outsider both in the country where I was born and in the country where was I brought up in.Just like an alien.T-Bone91i'm a little bit like that except with Aquaman... minus the destined to be king bit. I am very much a child born of two parents from two different 'worlds'. I know Aquaman is the butt of so so many jokes with geeks, but reading the New 52 version of him. I very very much found myself relating to the character a lot. and crazy to say this, but of all DC, besides Batman, I like Aquaman and Wonder Woman best. more then i like any of the Green Lanterns, Flashes, Superman or the rest of the Bat-family.

LOL I never realized that about Superman Returns
Immediately thought that as well at the end when you see Superman punchin' Zod.[QUOTE="T-Bone91"]Man of Steel.I somehow relate to supes as I am treated as an outsider both in the country where I was born and in the country where was I brought up in.Just like an alien.SaudiFuryi'm a little bit like that except with Aquaman... minus the destined to be king bit. Agree completely, except I would put Thor = IM3
i'm kinda suprised you dudes are so into superman.
he was always my least favorite superhero.
everything about him was always so lame from his whole  neo jesus/boyscout vibe to getting out of every single problem  by  being able to magically  pull any superpower he needed to save the day out of his ass.
I think the reason most people here are into Man of Steel is less because it's Superman and more because Chris Nolan is involved with it.i'm kinda suprised you dudes are so into superman.

to me the idea of a gritty superman is pretty funny.
it is about as appealing to me as the idea of a gritty care bear movie or fiding a gritty sucker on the sidewalk.
maybe this will be the thing that makes me like superman more.. who knows.
i saw this on netflix the other day and thought it was maybe the best superman story i had ever seen.
the idea of superman questioning  his relevance in the modern world gave the big blue boyscout at least a tiny bit of interesting character  development that is pretty rare in a superman story.
Thor: The Dark World - Interested
Iron Man 3 - Interested
Man of Steel - Mild Interest
Wolverine - Vague Interest
Kick Ass 2 - If it gets thrown in front of me I might watch it level of interest.Â
Ugh...the first movie sucked do much I turned it off. Dreadful....Kick Ass 2 is going to be the best of the bunch.

If you didn't finish it you can't give a real critique.

Sure I can. It sucked....or I wouldn't have turned it off.Looking forwards to seeing Iron Man 3! Also Thor, just to see how the story is building up towards the second Avengers film.
Not interested in Man of Steel, will watch out of curiosity. Didn't like the vibe I got from the trailer, I can see what they are trying to go for but I have a feeling it just wont work as well as it did for the Batman films ...for some reason the only times I've ever found Superman interesting is when he "turns evil" like in the Injustice comics, meh, maybe he'd make for a better villain than hero?

Iron Man 3
Ive already decided im seeing it day one.
indzman
me too, that is 26 APR in my city first show =D
Lucky!!
i gotta wait til May 3rd.
happy to see Zod there. Not the biggest superhero guy but I love Superman 2.MrPralineI'm happy Lex Luthor isn't the main antagonist this time. I was very disappointed with Superman Returns, but I have to admit, this looks promising. BTW, which version of Superman 2--the original or the Richard Donner version?
