Which anime u think got raped the most by U.S. voice overs?

In light of the news I heard recently that the naruto game for the 360 will get have the *** voices wit subtitles( No "Believe it!"people)...I wanted to see people's opinons on which anime got raped the most (voiceover wise) when it came to the U.S.

I hate English Naruto, Japanese Naruto is soo much better...but i think what got raped the most was One Piece. I was so excited for the show cuz I only saw the first 5 *** eps before it came to the U.S. But as soon a Luffy spoke...it was horrible...

I think the best one would have to be Fooly Cooly....cuz the show already had some american satire in it.

It wasnt that bad...tho I agreee in some instance cuz edward sounded more of age in the *** verison 

Evangelion dub is bad... really bad...

None did, english voice overs are fine for animes. The only problem I have is that they edit out the language and blood sometimes, other then that, who cares. billnye69

15 is still a kid. I can think of an onlsaught of more anime dubs that have worser voices than in FMA.

Well, it has to be One Piece - it's impossible to take that dub seriously.

There are a handful of animes that have been butchered by independant dubbing corporations - the characters often sound lifeless - aside from not sounding like the original vox whatsoever.

I hardly ever notice the difference if and ever I watch the Japanese versions. (I despise subtitles) Other then they are talking gibberish that I can't understand, it's all the same stuff.

Dragonball Z... the newer stuff has been better, but honestly I don't know anymore because I haven't watched an anime (other than Shin-Chan) in English in years. subrosian

Dont get me start on that show...tho it is pretty funny...but it's annoying at times...

If you have any knowledge on this subject, you have to say One Piece. There is no room for opinion on this subject. One Piece is absolute when it comes to god-awful horrible dubs.

...I mean, what the hell? Naruto?! The dub for Naruto wasn't even that bad. Sure, it wasn't a work of art, but the script wasn't massively changed and some of the voices actually made sense. Neither of these things are true for One Piece. Every single voice in One Piece is absolutely horrid, with no exception. Most of the dialog was completely re-written. Virtually every character's name was changed. The OP was replaced with a ridiculously awful rap. There are truly no words that can properly describe the butchery that is the One Piece dub. Hell, they removed an entire story arc for the sake of introducing a highly marketable character before Christmas. What the hell have they done to Naruto? Gotten a few of the voices wrong? Removed a couple scenes with strong violence? Yeah...what a crime against humanity!

The only dub that comes close to the same level of butchery as the One Piece dub is Card Captor Sakura's dub. And I see no mention of that on the poll. And that's just terrible.

Naruto really got shafted in terms of voice overs, and it's not only that but the translation is crap also.  I was watching the first couple episodes and they wouldn't use the word kill.  It was the most annoying thing I've watched in awhile.  I really hate when they kiddy it down for American TV.

It migth have something to do with the cost of quality voice acting in the US.  Getting a good voice actor normally costs quite a lot more than in Japan, and I'm guessing whoever does the hiring at VIZ media really can't tell good voice acting from a hole in is Ass

All of them suck. Not just the crappy voice overs but the censorship, to appeal to stupid americans who are afraid of children dying their hair, sex, and swears. Pokemon (back when I used to watch and play it) had sex in the japanes version(i recently foudn). Also I plaed the japanese version of firered because i love the original set of pokemon. This is how it happend

God, I couldn't believe it. I hadnt seen pokemon in over 6 years and i decided to see on of the eps of the battle frontier( did I say it right?) series, god Ash's voice is horrible..from a 12 year old boy to a 9 year old little girl....I pray to see how horrible Naruto's voice gets when they hit the Shippudeen saga...

Almost all anime got killed with dubs except for the Hayao Miyazaki movies. Those actually turned out good. but I really, really hate the dub for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Here's a comparison between the insert songs in Japanese and English. I LOVED the japanese version (and Aya Hirano), but they totally killed it when Christina Vee had to sing the dubbed version. Pathetic

One Piece. I can't believe what they did to the series for the US. As for Naruto, they are very horrible. None of the voices are right at all. My biggest concern for the show is that they cut a lot of content out of the episodes. I saw the Gaara/Naruto fight and they cut a big chunk out. I noticed they got rid of all the curse words as well. The small script changes where things sound less horrifying. I guess I don't have to worry because I refuse to watch the english version.EndersAres

And yes, I've heard the dubbed Naruto and had to hold my laugh in. It's the only dubbed anime, next to DBZ and Ranma 1/2 which I have seen. But dubbed Naruto is by far the worst I have seen.

FMA had one of the best dubs I've ever heard, how could someone say that one was bad?

I also though Bleach's was okay, not spectacular, but not butchered.
