I think it's because I was craving some burgers today and I was broke. And I remember I once gave my gf(at the time) $5 to help her buy a Soul Eater shirt and I used another $12 to get her a Soul Eater necklace on her birthday. So in the end $17 is a lot of burgers.

The K-On fans in Japan are pretty bad. There was this guy on TV who popped the head off of a K-On figure and there was some forum posts with murder threats and stuff.

I don't think so either, but generally the fanbases for slice of life and harem seem to be awful. But man my run in with the Yu Gi oh guys in my country has got to be the worst ever.. hearing them arguing about dueling makes me want to jump off a bridge :|

The Neon Genesis Evangelion fanbase, at least in Japan. I read somewhere that when the author gave viewers a unsatisfactory ending to the anime series, some fans sent him death threats.
