Which decade had the best movies, in your opinion?

I have to say the 70's. Clockwork Orange, Jaws, Dirty Harry, The Warriors, Midnight Express, Star Wars, and the list goes on.

IMO, movies continue to improve every decade. But I can't stand older movies for the most part. There are a handful of older movies (Pre '70s) that I like, but not even 70's movies were that great to me. I like effects on action/horror/war/etc. And as far as comedies go, they have been good since the 80's. Overall, the 80's were pretty good, the 90's were good, and the 2000's are awesome. Keep up the good work Hollywood. Awaiting all the bashing I'm going to take from the traditionalists who think only originals are good.

Overall, the 80's.

The 80's have all my favorite movies. Best is subjective.
