My parents didn't let me watch TV that much, I was always outside anyways. Nickelodeon out of those two though.

I remember Jonny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Two Stupid Dogs and Dexter's Laboratory, I preferred them to the likes of Rugrats and Hey Arnold but it was all good...

I'm not sure if CN was around back when I was a kid. I do remember watching Nickelodeon though. Gumby was my favorite show as a kid. :P

Nickelodeon in the early to mid 90's, while Cartoon Network in the late 90's to the early 00's.

My area didn't have Cartoon Network until I was like 10 (But I used to watch it when we went on vacation).

I liked Nickolodeon so much more.

I didn't (and still don't) have Cable. I had to settle for Fighting Food-Ons and Archie's Mysteries.

same here, but I started with CN instead. both CN and Nick have gone downhill. I don't see how kids find the new shows interesting. just look at spongebob a few seasons ago, and the new episodes of spongebob now. it went from clever nonsense to stupid nonsense

When I was a kid there was only Saturday morning cartoons and afternoon bouts of Merry Melodies. Occasionally I could find a PBS channel that aired Speed Racer, Kimba, or Gigantor but that depended on how close our house was to the city that the signal came from.

You did growing up in Central America in the 80's-90's.

Cartoon Network. They had a more variety of shows I could watch, though most of the shows that did come on Nick I also liked too....

There seriously needs to be an "other" option. I always use to watch YTV.Video Arcade Top 10,Pokemon, Digimon (I specifically remember the day that those two premiered back to back),DBZ andYu-Gi-Oh! were my all-time favourites.

Teletoon was a close second.

I pretty much watched both equally. I forget what the shows are called, but I had to choose between a series of cartoons that premiered possible new episodes. 'twas a hard choice.

I was usually outside, but Nickelodeon. Nick was the best. You can't beat Rugrats.

In my opinion the two best things Nickelodeon did (cartoon wise) was Rugrats and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Avatar was recent but damn, that was literally the best cartoon/anime I've watched, especially from Nickelodeon while Rugrats was just good childhood times. Cartoon Network had Pokemon, YuGiOh and DBZ which were cool to watch, but as a child I didn't have CN, I just watched Pokemon, DBZ and YuGiOh on YTV, and Fox Kids on saturday morning.

Good times...

Agreed, Avatar is the *stuff*, I watched it from start to finish (all 3 books) once and I loved it, it has such good voice acting and the writers for the show are really creative.
