My dad still uses Explorer and my Mom uses Firefox. My dad doesn't really do much on the net though, but my mom plays games. I suggested Chrome to them many times telling them it was better, but they still use the other two. :lol: Which internet browser do your parents use?
My mother uses Explorer. Just booting up the PC and logging in seems like a really complex task for her, so I don't want to introduce the concept that IE and "the Internet" are two separate things. It might be too much of a shock for her. :P
My dad's a bit more tech-savvy, he discovered Firefox years ago and seemed quite happy with it. I haven't visited in a while so I'm not sure if he ever moved to Chrome, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Not quite sure what my mom uses; I installed Chrome and Firefox on her laptop but believe me, she is not browser partial, so she more than likely uses whichever one is closest to the cursor. My dad still sticks to IE.

? Firefox and Chrome are considered the two best browers with Chrome being better until Firefox got its latest patch and then it ranked higher. Unless Chrome got a patch since then Firefox should still be the best, either way they are so close it's not like it matters. Those are the two I have installed.
we have both IE and FF on the desktop. my dad is computer savvy and uses FF. my mom however, is not. she used IE from the time we had a computer til just about a few months ago. She now uses FF. im so proud of her.:P
i guess she got tired of my constant "FF is so much better than IE" rants:P
My mom and my dad uses internet explorer. I tried to explain to my dad that chrome was much faster, but he doesnt like the feel of it. I tried to tell him, once you get used to it, it is awesome.
At my house, I use Chrome while they use IE (even though my dad downloaded Chrome for everyone). At my dorm, I use Internet Explorer since myitlab requires you to use Internet Explorer.
My parents used to have Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP, and I switched from IE8 to Firefox a year ago, because IE8 had security flaws in it and still does. My mom used to have IE8 also, until her router lost connection and was broken, and before we knew it, her Windows XP computer broke down. Now she has a new Windows 7 computer, and, thanks to my friend's counseling, my mom now uses Firefox sometimes, like me. My dad, however, still uses IE8 from XP, and I still use Firefox from XP too.
