Which is a site you just cant take serious?

besides fox news and the onion ofc.

I cant take anything from 1up seriously...they are just so badly informed in everything they write. i've already seen like 10 articles which talk about utter, false crap, the most impressive one was one called "videogame characters that would suck in real life" and the article was soooo full of crap, specially when they reached the squall part...the guys just said a bunch of things that were totally not true and portrayed a squall who was completly the opposite of FF VIII main char. ofc they also did the same with many other chars, that thing made me wonder if the guys actually play the games before writing, or if they just read a plot summary from wikipedia

Kotaku. They're terrible journalists. Half the time they post s*** that's completely irrelevant to video games, Bashcraft keeps posting about his fetishes with Japanese women, they repeat articles, get information blatantly wrong, are constantly misleading, post stupid s*** no one cares about, post blatant advertisements as "news", etc.

Gamespot (the off-topic board comes to mind)

I'm going to have to go with 1up and Kotaku as well. It seems they're a little late on breaking news or any news for that matter and they're never that well informed on anything, and I can't really take anything thats written on their sites serious. Plus there sites just doesn't draw me in. Plus (no offense to 1up users) I think 1up is a little bit of a rip off of Gamespot.

I actually just fell into this site, it's so dumb.

IGN forums were a complete joke a few years back, not sure how it is now since its claimed "change". I will admit that they are better than GS in game coverage though.
