While both are having terrible outputs lately, especially with A, AA, AAA rated movies games, tv shows, and cartoons as compared to earlier years, this guys are pretty much the main super hero duo even today. The only competition to them is each other. Which do you think is better overall in terms of: Quality, Originality, Story, Characters, Games, Movies, likable heroes, recgonition, soundtrack, comics, Fans, etc. etc. whatever other reasons you would like to add. So D.C. or Marvel overall? Which do you like more?

I was by far more of a Marvel fan. More relatable characters and setting things in real locations helped me connect with their stories more. With that said I have really followed ether since the 90s.

  • Story DC
  • Characters DC
  • Games Marvel, the new batman games are solid though
  • Movies Toss up
  • likable heroes Marvel
  • likable villians DC
  • recgonition I think if you asked a person without much investment in either, they'd say batman, so...

DeadMan1290

The film would only be like 5 minutes long though.

My thoughts, too. Batman is one of my favorite heroes, but the rest of DC is too vanilla. Too much power. I prefer the characters to be more vulnerable.

Even though they are powerful, they're still pretty weak, especially Superman.

Marvel by far. More interesting and relatable characters. D.C. characters are all fairly generic and uber powerful. Batman is the only decent D.C. hero (though, to be fair, they really hit it out of the park with Batman).

Is this a joke? Superman can beat Darkseid. The Flash beat a Braniac infused-Lex Luthor. Don't get me started on the others.

I meant in the way that psychologically, they're weak. I meant they don't show the confidence or cockiness of Iron Man, the bravery of Captain America, except Batman. I like DC a lot, but I prefer Marvel's heroes.

I don't think you've read many DC comics or watched the shows...

Marvel by far. If we're speaking strictly about comics I have to say they have been *ss since the mid 90s (at least for my they have). I don't think I've purchased a comic book in well over 10 years.

Marvel vs. DC might as well be Batman vs. Marvel, and as awesome as Batman is, he isn't better than The Avengers.
