Which is more Nerdy: Plays VideoGames or Watches anime?

You know what's really nerdy? The fact that your thread title is bringing out the grammar-nazi in me.

I do both and I wouldn't say I'm nerdy, more geeky with a smidgen of dorkyness.

I'm going to say anime, I don't like yo generalise and I used to like watching a few animes but it seems as though people who are into it are really 'into' it, and there's a lot of snobbery around too.

Actually the same thing can be said about music, maybe it's just that internet effect.

They are both forms of escape just one has better artwork than the other.

Seriously, who uses the word "nerd" anymore? 90% of people have a myspace now, AIM is cool, and technology is the mainstream, so how do you define something as nerdy when probably a majority of the population partake in something that is part of pop culture now?

90% of the people I know who play games regularly are actually normal

90% of the people I know who watch anime are just ****** up

the only anime I have seen are some videos my friends had. It was crazy though. Demons raping people and splitting them in half with their peice, it was pretty wild. I am not sure what the names were. I saw vampire d, I am not sure if that counts. Old school stuff like voltron.

umm...ya, that's Hentai lol AKA anime porn, you should check out Death Note or Cowboy Bebop, or some studio ghibli movies then you can see what anime actually is...not hentai lol

yeah seriously.  If what he says is true then every last anime he has ever watched has been low quality with bad acting.  No wonder he thinks it's stupid.  Hell, even my dad bases his opinion of every anime on the only one he has ever seen:  Speed Racer.  That's like basing an opinion regarding every Godfather movie on the third one.

yea i like anime,manga,and play videogames but i'm not a dork (well i am sometimes) but i know i'm not a nerd. When all you do is play World of Warcraft online all day long now thats nerdy. and if playing videogames makes you a nerd then evrybody on this site is a nerd!
