We agree on something....anyway, probably The Beatles.
Hey now, I like the Cure too.
Can, Neu!, The Stooges, MC5, Dead Boys, Rocket from the Tomb, Tangerine Dream, The Velvet Underground, The Who, early Pink Floyd (pre-Dark Side of the Moon, before they got pretentious), The New York Dolls, The Kinks, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, early Rolling Stones, The Beatles...
Pretty much a majority of my favorite bands from the late 60's and early 70's, because a majority of these bands broke up in that time period...
EDIT: I overlooked the Beatles... Somehow. They're awesome, plain and simple.
I've always been a Neil Young fan. Part country, part folk, part grunge...he's awesome. Even though he isn't a band.I suppose Crazy Horse counts...

Aqua lung was Good and Thick as a Brick was OK, but greatest?
Aqualung was the only song of theirs I liked, and even then, I got bored of it really, really quickly.Different? Yes. Spectacular? Hardly.
Don't even kid like that. :( That's about the only band that they play on the classic rock radio station down here. And they named Freebird the no.1 song of all time. :|omg i almost forgot

I can with all honesty say that the Rolling Stones are by far the most overrated band of all time though. In terms of Rock, they stink. Where the praise comes from is beyond me, hell I hate AC/DC and I'd listen to them before the Stones.
Let the flaming commence.

Their stuff from the 60's and early 70's was fantastic, but, I agree, anything after the 70's was crap.

I've tried to like them, hell I own their 40 licks CD, but I can't do it.
They've always said that you're a Beatles or Stones person, and ironically enough I fell into this gambit.
