I was wondering if anyone would quote that. Anyway, it's good that someone loves Load.

Load is worse than St. Anger IMO.Epic fail
Load at least had King Nothing, 2x4, and Hero of the Day.

Ummm yeah....nice way to argue an opinion.Alright then. How was ST. Anger better? Terrible drumming, vocals and NO SOLO'S and not a single good song on the album. Load is only hated because it sounds different than other Metallica albums.Juggernaut140Load was metallica's attempt to reach a mainstream audience that failed miserably and made the band seem nothing more than a sell-out......with St. Anger they at least attempted to return to their roots....not a very good job but better than Load. IMO

I wonder why they would need to attempt to reach a more mainstream audience. The Black Album was incredibly succesful.

The Black Album was their first sell out. Then, years later they try to re-sell out with something called St. Anger that they foolishly thought would appeal to the current mass market a decade after the last time they sold out, except this time it was truly a joke of a marketing error, and no one thought it was cool or even funny the second time around.

And it'll happen again with their next album.
