Poll Which one is the dominant one!? (39 votes)

Pizza 31%
Pancakes 3%
Waffles 0%
Hamburgers 36%
Fries 18%
Döner/Dürum 10%
Poutine 0%
Cake 3%
Pie 0%

Just bored and was wondering which one you think is the dominant food!

To keep the fight fair:

1. All flavors allowed.
2. All variants allowed.
3. Sauces and custom toppings are allowed but only if kept in proportions (so the subject is still the main role).
(Joker.) Drink that you pair with the food.

that's the thing about hamburgers (and pizza really) you can have them however you want. I personally like mine with cheese (most cheeses are good for it), lettuce, tomato and ketchup sometimes pickles or bacon if i'm feeling fancy.

@dylandr: not a fan or raw onions... some cooked onions on a patty melt with cheese and ketchup is good though.

of course a good restaurant or homemade burger will be best, but i've yet to have a bad burger... even a fast food burger will do in a pinch. The premium versions they have at most fast foot places these days seem to be pretty decent actually. The meat could still use some work (or, more accurately, less work) but the other components are better and that seems to help a lot.

@MuD3: yes, i meant cooked/baked unions, not a fan of ketchup though, it ruins the integrity for me.

i use a pinch of mayonaise (like smaller then small) and add some pepper :3

@dylandr: I use a lot of pepper when I make my own.

I'm not opposed to mayonnaise but anytime I got it and wasn't expecting it, there was just too much. I don't know if I could eat a burger without ketchup though... It would have to be cooked perfectly.

Though in reality I should cut back on 'em... two or three a week doesn't seem all that healthy. The fuckers are actually quite greasy :P

Out of the choices, Pizza. But I'd give it to either Stake or Curry.

@dylandr: a good hotdog is pretty hard to beat

i remember this programme i watched once featuring a danish master chef breaking down why the hotdog became so popular and widespread to begin with

turns out, a classic hotdog topped traditionally "with everything" contains all major flavours, including umami, making the hotdog a culinary delicacy capable of challenging any dish as a viable alternative in terms of fulfilling a food craving

pretty awesome

edit: when you think about it, the same goes for a classic and also hugely popular burger, its makeup is almost identical to the hotdog in terms of flavour combinations
