Which one of these Avatars is better?

Which of the two avatars do you prefer out of the following two? What impression does each of them give and which one are you more likely to reply to?

You should use themajormayors avatar as your Youtube avatar.

The first one looks a little psycho-ish. On the second you are smiling, so the second one.

If I were you I would make an avatar out of your Gamespot sig. That water + BluTV font looks really good and professional.

I find that people don't respond to me when I have an avatar that doesn't feature me/ a Human being.

If your avatar is an original design/logo then you will get a lot of responses/views/whatever. Those pictures look sort of wacky, man.

Psychologically, the first pic looks a bit imposing and off putting. The second pic seems a lot more casual, friendly and at ease.

The first one looks like it's from a Telltale game.

The best avatars are the ones where you're not specifically trying to look a certain way. For instance, if someone snaps a photo of you out somewhere where you're genuinely having a good time and laughing, unaware of the camera...those make for the most genuine IMO.
