Deliverance, my favourite album by them. Though I warn you the songs on that album are REALLY long, but truly epic if you have the time to listen to them, thought in all fairness its only 6 songs or so. hama666
C'mon man, he listens to Opeth, of course he knows their songs are extremely long.
Although, some can go on for 20 minutes, which is insane, I mean, that's like whole episode of a show on T.V. like you said though, they are truly epic and you'll love every minute of it.
i have a track thats 63 minutes. 20 minutes isn't really that much.TempleGoat
Holy crap I can't imagine them playing that at a show or something, I'm sure they'd get tired after playing for an hour straight. No little breaks inbetween to talk to the audience or set off some pyrotechnics and let the audience gawk at that while they thake a breather lol.

Yeh I know, but Ghost reveries had considerably shorter songs than the others so it might come as abit of a surprise to him since I assume he only owns that album.

It's actually really worth a listen if you can stand it, and if you can track it down. I think it's pretty much out of print everywhere. Click
ps. Only the 2003 version is troo!
pps. Not Opeth related.
Haha, true, I listened to songs like Deliverance and Black Rose Immortal before I heard most of the rest, so that's a different first impression.
Stll haven't heard that 63 minute track lol, gosh, that's like releasing an album and having just 1 song on it.

Yep same here, funny since before I would refuse to listen to a song longer than 4 minutes, guess opeth had increased my patience time-span :P.
Dream theater do rediculously long songs too, another brilliant band.

Yeah when I first heard Glass House (I think that's what it's called, either that or Glass Prison.) I was like "How long is this frikin' intro?"

Its glass prison, I think its about 14 minutes long, Octavarium on the otherhand is nearing the 25 minute mark,
but time-wise they dont compare to temple-goats 63 minute track :P
