Which SAW is better?

Which one of the 3 SAW movies is better?

Are they chonologic? do I miss out on anything if I just go ahead and see the last one?

or should I just get Hostel I first?

I don't know, haven't SAWN any of them.

i like the first one best. i think the series progressively gets more gore and less plot. dissonantblack

The 2nd one had a great plot line and wasn't as confusing as the first one.

The first one, the one that tried to be a horror movie instead of a useless gore flick, like the other 2.

The first one is the best, probably followed by 3.

Definitely see the first movie at least. It is one of the most genius plots ever made!

BTW random question to everyone, is the Hostel 2 ending really as "amazing" as I keep hearing on tv? If it truly is a great ending, I might check out the series just to see this ending...

First one is the best, second one is worse, haven't seen the third one...

but 1st one, besides killing and stuff, it has a somewhat good/tricky plot... unlike the second one...

I only saw the first two. The first one was pretty good, and the second one made me not really want to see the third one.

The first one had an interesting, if a bit over-the-top, plot, and really wasn't all that gory for the most part.

Chronologicly it goes in order of release

I've only seen Saw 2 and I thought it was a disgustingly sadistic gorefest. I'm not against gore and violence in movies, but some movies go too far. Heathcliff
