You all know what I'm talking about. The kind of fans who are gladly willing to lynch fans of the opposing team and vice versa. The kind of fans that kick the crap out of you if you come into their bar wearing the wrong jersey. The kind of fans that seem to be on a first name basis with riot police and SWAT.

Football (soccer) definitely. I don't think there is a sport where so many fans have killed each other or caused one anothers death's then football. Its not as much of a problem as it was in the 70s and 80s but compared to most, they are still pretty serious about it.

Seriously! I remember a story of a soccer player who was killed by his teams fans after he scored a goal on his own team and lost. Definitely soccer. Hockey comes a close 2nd. American Football fans simply cannot compare..

It's definitely safe to say that Central and Southern American futbol fans have tense rage building up inside when there's an important game on the line. Ive been to an Hodurean futbol game a few years ago. They we're playing El Salvador (bitter rivals). Obviously there would'nt be one Salvadorean fan in a Hondurean stadium. It's crazy how that Stadium is still standing. Oh no, wait, it's not....

Football (Soccer) seriously some of the stadiums have barbed wire fences and moats just to keep fans off the fields. Not to mention fans shooting off fireworks and hitting players in the face.

Indeed. This really isn't an opinion issue either. It has been clearly shown through the many accounted violent outbreaks at countless games that the futbol fans are the most rabid.

I read about a Leaf fan getting beat up once too, and if you ever go to the bell center wearing a Leaf or Bruins jersey, expect to get chirped. Although I don't think the Habs fans compare to Soccer fans, who riot in the streets and crap after the team loses.
