I'm asking as a possible gift for my mother. Also, what shows from these streaming services do you enjoy?

I have Netflix and Amazon Prime for now; I know HBO Max is launching May 27. If you sign up on their website, first time subscribers only pay $11.99 a month for the first year, instead of $15.

I've got Netflix, Amazon Prime (more for shopping than video but when in Rome), VRV, Shudder, and Hulu.

I have Netflix, Amazon and Disney+. I haven't used them that much lately but I like them enough to stay subscribed. I've been debating on subscribing to Shudder. It's hard to find a decent horror movie on Netflix or Amazon.

I don't actually pay for any of the ones I have access to, and I'm very conflicted about whether I would bother doing so if I should suddenly lose access to them.

At any rate I have access to Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube TV, and hoopla which is a free service my library uses. Personally, Netflix is my favorite and I would probably pay for it if my parents dropped their subscription to it, probably. The rest of them are fine, but nothing that special to me. The biggest difference for me is that I use Netflix to chances on shows I otherwise wouldn't bother with or even know about. I just don't browse the others looking for new stuff the way I do with Netflix for whatever reason.

Beyond that my suggestion is to make use of Plex on your computer and a VPN. That's the thing I use the most.
