i have purple color lightbulb in my lamp when i want to chill with little light and not be in the black.

Probably white. I've always wanted to try other colors though. The only other color I have is my lamp's black light. :/

The soft yellow of traditional bulbs is the best. That's the problem with the newer energy saving bulbs. They are super white and the like looks like crap.

Slightly yellow (which seems to be most light bulbs), I guess because it's what I've always had. They make things feel warmer too! Or something.

Though one of the washrooms in my house has white lights, and I think I like them more for a bathroom.

I get Seasonal Effected Disorder in the winter, so I replaced all of the lights with full spectrum white, and I have a little sun box too.

I like yellow light. White light gives me a headache sometimes (sadly that's all I have in my room).

I dont like the yellow lights, they are not bright enough, and give everything a yellowish tinge. I want full spectrum white.

I assume yellow as incandescent, I hate halogen led.. and all other cold blue 'white' lights.. about as much as I hate colored lights. Just makes everything seem dry and sterile.

I personally can't stand the warm colour lights. Every light is fitted with a more neutral globe.

I don't really give much thought though to using other different colours.

I literally -hate- white lights. They give off the most sterile, headache-inducing ambiance ever.

I do like soft yellows and oranges though, but I tend to like my living spaces dim. I've used green lights before too. Very stimulating to the eye, but if they're dim enough they can be pretty relaxing. Blues have such a compressed wavelength I can't get used to them in a relaxed setting although I've tried. Same with purple. Red can be alright but it's generally too dim and brings out the shadows in the room.

I prefer white. I think everything looks ghastly under anything but white light. Even at work sights, I cannot stand the sodium vapor lamps compared to the mercury vapor lamps. Everything looks sick under the orange light of sodium lamps. Also, why was a 2 year old topic brought back up?
