This is funny, all this Aliens thing being green and making sudden occurrences and feeling the need to send mysterious messages and vanishing in a fraction of the second.
The aliens have been coming here. Why do think everyone has been complaining about border control? We can't keep them out. As for beings whom are alien to the planet earth... Why would anyonethink they are gonna come of Oct 13thsimply because someone claims they will?
There are things that most people are unaware of and will never be aware of, but as for space aliens...I think people indulgetheir imaginations withtheir own fantasies andstories
Nope. So many reasons why too. They will never come. Its much more likely that we will go to them. Any one heard of the earth like planet with life we just found?

i don't believe we are alone, the fact that we're here is proof enough for me to believe in ET life, but whether or not they're intelligent like us or just microbes is up for grabs :P
Why is it so unreasonable to believe in aliens? We are finding everyday that earth like planets are more common than we think so it's stupid to believe were alone. :)

They'd need something that travels FASTER than light speed(Which to our knowledge is impossible) or they have to have an incredibly large lifespan. 2.) We've been on this planet for 100,000 out of 4.6 BILLION years. The chances of them reaching us in that tiny, insignficant time frame is very slim. 3.) They have to be non-aggressive or at least not bent on destroying humanity or we'd have noticed them blowing up our planet by now. 4.) Why wait? Why announce a date? Why? Why? Why?

I'm 100% certain that there's intelligent life out there, but I don't believe they'll be here in my lifetime, or really in anyone's lifetime for a while. Can't say you're 100% certain. Let's use 99.99999%. Speaking in absolutes about things you can't be absolutely sure of is silly.
I do believe aliens exist, but I don't believe they've ever been to Earth while humans have been around.

Have you ever seen the show 'Ancient Aliens" on the National Geographic Channel. It goes over some how aliens may have been here before in human history and the things they say aren't really that outlandish.
So many random replies with no link to display what even started this thread in the first place. While I don't know where this discussion about the 13th is coming from, I believe there are alien "life forms" that live in environments similar to ours...or maybe slightly different than ours. It's silly to think that life only occurred on a tiny spec of land that is located in an otherwise infinite mass of space filled with undiscovered planets. We've only just started expanding beyond pluto...and we've discovered pluto isn't even a proper planet to begin with.

3.Why automatically assume they'd be aggressive? if I was a superior being coming to an 'infant' planet just learning about sciences and technology I wouldn't attack them. I'd help them so im not going to assume they'd just come here to wipe us out.
4. So it's a little less shocking when they do come here. And maybe to show theyre not aggressive, because if they were going to attack they definately wouldnt let us know. But i dont know about this date thing someone needs to post a link :P
