It's illogical to think we're the only life in the universe. Last time we checked, it was big. I don't think they've been visiting us, though.Luncbox1
TRUE
after they took me up their space ship I believe them, it was so strange they very strange things to my body and then there was a voice that said :" okay that will be 20 dollars":?Wizz46
I think you sleepwalked down to a Thai Place.
[QUOTE="The_Zoid"][QUOTE="abattoir_blues"]don't ever pray to god it doesn't do a thing.....Dasc00That's totally not what's being talked about. :? Anyway, I believe they are somewhere out there. Yeah honestly...why did he bring it up? because there currently isn't a religious thread and he probably needs his fulfillment. :P
[QUOTE="GameFreak315"]Better question: If there are aliens, do they believe in us? :question:Luncbox1no, they still believe in the heliocentric earth model. So until Zglaxsor gets hit in the head with an apple, we're out of luck. :(
Sorry, you lost me. :P
It's like evolution, you dont "Believe" it, there's enough facts to say YES, there is evolution, and YES there are aliens. Why?
There are over 200 million stars in the Milky Way galaxy (Spiral Bar Galaxy) About 75 million of these stars are Yellow main sequence stars that are NOT in binary systems (Binary are systems with 2 stars.).
That's a lot, and as we study how our solar system was created, we are finding out that it's quite probably our planet isnt as rare as we thought. As a matter of fact, some theorize our system may have gone through more problems than some others will/have.
So i would say around 20 million solar systems in this galaxy alone have Earthlike planets. That is a LOT, some of those most definetly must have life on them. And if by some strange act of god they dont, there is over 100 trillion other galaxies out there.
I can tell you, there ARE ALIENS, aka Intelligent Beings on other worlds. And i can gaurentee you i am right.
[QUOTE="Grouch0de"]I believe they're out there, but I don't believe they've been here.-Karayan-Same, sadly there will always be nut cases who think they're actually here. And of course they probe on hicks. I'm not saying that I can be positive that UFOs exist, but there is evidence for it. I'm not talking about nutjobs living in their parents basement, I'm talking about testimonials of ex-pilots (lots of them).

Why have aliens not visited us? Quite simple. According to a credible physics professor Michio Kaku, the only form of insterstellar travel is to establish a Wormhole (Which he believes is most definetly do-able, contrary to Einsteins beliefs). He and most others concur that a civilization would need to be around a million years advanced to have the technology to do this (This is a rough estimate, we may discover the tech tomorrow). Its possible other life could be at the same stage of tech as we are, or in the Bronze age.
Even if they are advanced enough to use intersteller travel, how could they possibly know we exsisted? Any telescope pointed our way would show earth how it was thousands or even millions of years ago. They would have to ACCIDENTALLY run across us, and THEN they'd have to actually care enough to take a look, and EVEN THEN, we would see the wormhole they used to travel here (It would be very very bright, like a supernova.), which we havent seen any of as of this date.
