I love my mom and hate my dad with passion. Good thing I don't live with his ass anymore. It doesn't deserve kids.

Amen to that, I love both of my parents. They did their best to raise me and my siblings right and I can only hope when I have kids that I will be able to the same.

I am not going to say who I like more, that would be disrespectful.

However, as an adult, I find myself identifying more with my dad.

This is a change from the norm because Ive always been more like my mom. Maybe its a guy thing, but I am starting to see that living in a family with two type-A personality, ambitious females (my mom and my sister, who growing up did enough drama for the two of us) is not easy, and we sort of need to band together lol.

Also, in hindsight, my mom has essentially dominated both my choices and opinions growing up, and only now do I see how wrong she was, and how much she has made me self concious.

If you forced me to chose, I'd say I like my mom more, but I also resent her more.

My dad I have a great deal of respect for how hard my dad works and how he comes home almost everyday happy he is my favourite my mom on the otherhand is disorganized mess who though is a great person her faults are to many to name

My mom...by a mile.

My mom easily. My dad doesn't think things through, doesn't play well w/ others, impulsive, and tends to mettle w/ things. My mom is smart, easy going, and easy to get along w/. About the only thing bad about her is she's more stubborn than a mule. The good thing is it's easy to work around her if she's being stubborn.

My mom even if she is a bit crazy, my dad is pretty much dead to me.

i dont really have a favorite. my mom is better when it comes to education and life stuff (cook? etc...) and well my dad is better at fun and adventure. so i need both of them so no favorites for me :)

I cannot say I like either one more than the other. My mum, though all her intentions are good, doesn't want to 'let go' of her 'baby'. However I can talk to my mum about anything and she is always there for me. My dad, however, treats me like an adult, but I cannot talk to him about things that are personal to me.

I feel as uncomfortable around both of them as they do around me.

I've noticed this too, it could also explain why alot of people here seem depressed :? I love both of my parents, they are two of the most important people in my life.
