Becuase the voting season is coming, I was just wondering your opinion.

care to narrow it down? i agree with a few, specially lincoln. but which one is the worst?
I would say Wilson, never ever should of been in WW1 and that got us in to foreign wars, and like all of the winning powers and their leaders during WW1, the blood is on their hands for WW2
AND yes Lincoln would be in the top two worst
George Bush is up there, the Constiution and international law both have been bent by him.. And he probably wants to try to inject religion into government.. Is incrediably prejudice towards gays, making it a issue over NATIONAL security, the economy etc etc in the last election in a dozen states..
This is just in the past century though.. But who knows we really can't say anything till time has past.
you have to admit bill clinton was a good president, he was mainly hated for that "thing" he didSaintsRowSam
Clinton's crimes just weren't as obvious, Waco and OK City, he signed NAFTA which makes him a terrible president and yes he did the nation building policy and stupid foreign intervention. He has many connections to Iran-Contra and Iran- Contra supression (Janet Reno for one) So no Clinton was not a good president. The CFR, and Trilateral comission would disagree with me though.

I don't think so, he was mediocre at best.
I hate how he's seen as a cool president for lying to the people because he got "some" in the white house.
Nixonkbubba92Nixon was a fantastic president. He had great foreign policy and the economy was great, while he was in. People just remember him poorly because of watergate, which was retarded because he won the election in a landslide.
Anyway, Hoover was probably our worst president. Did pretty much nothing to end the depression and still drove around in a limo eating 5 course meals.

Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson
You liked King Jackson? Why?Lincoln's the worst? What kinda nutter would say that?
For me, either Nixon (that whole attempting to be a dictator really lowered my opinion of him. If you think Bush is a "dictator", he isn't even close to ol' Tricky Dick) or Grant (because he was a great general but a terrible politician).
Probably Abraham Lincoln, since I believe he's largely responsible formany ofthe race problems that have plagued the south for the last 150 years or so.fidosim

You liked King Jackson? Why?Opposition to the banks mainly, hands off economic policies, voter rights, and he was a tough old bastard who had real guts

You realize that almost every other country in the world was able to abolish slavery without a war except the United States? Peacefully was something that Lincoln wasnt able to understand.

Lincoln could've cared less about the slaves. His policies were all about centralizing the country and propping up the federal government. He created a police state in the North while pursuing vicious wartime policies in the south. The Federal troops ransacked the south and destroyed much of its infrastructure. This created a lot of resentment during reconstruction, and this anger is reflected in a lot of race problems that have happened since the Civil war. The KKK, for instance, was fueled by anger at northernerswhich was in turn turned against blacks in the south.

Lincoln had no control over the southern state legislatures' decision to suceed from the union.
And what of the fact that other nations abolished slavery peacefully? It hadn't been an issue of sectionalist contention for 70 years in those nations, nor was it an intergral part of a sections of those nations' economies.
To blame Lincoln for the Civil War shows a fundamental ignorance of history.

Opposition to banks? You mean the dissollution of the Federal bank and depositing the money into his friends' "pet banks," who by Grant's term had all hit bankruptcy causing a huge recession? That nutshell? And "real guts" is a nice euphamism for vetoing anything that passes through congress that you disagree with.

To completely exempt Lincoln is ignorant as well. If you can tell me that he didnt completely violate rights given in teh Constitution then you are lying to yourself. His censorship of Northern newspapers, early in the war while the north was losing, is a great example of that.
