Who else didn't like Iron Man very much?

I just watched it last night and...well Tony Stark is a pretty cool guy, eh shoots lasers, lieks burger king and doesn't afraid of anything (couldnt help it) :(

But my main problem is... Iron Man the hero wasn't as cool as Stark. I should be watching the Stark parts eagerly awaiting Iron Man, but it wound up being the other way around. Iron Man just doesn't seem to be as cool a super hero as any of the other comic-book heroes that have movies now.

I was disappointed..Good movie..but not worth to watch a 2nd time.

The only part of the movie I didn't care for was the main villain. Or at least what he becomes.

Actually looking back, the final fights in the new Hulk movie and Iron Man are pretty similar in concept...

It was OK, but I think Spiderman 1 was better.

The only real reason is that spiderman had multiple conflicts with the Green Goblin over a long period of time.

Iron man was basically:

basically, Iron man only had 1 real fight with the real antagonist of the movie, Spiderman had mutliple...

I think more movies should be made with multiple (real, physical, not mental) conflicts between the primary antagonist and the protagonist

Yea I just saw that last night. I was very impressed, one of the most visually amazing films ive ever seen and Il jump at the first chance I get to see it on the big screen.

I thought Iron man was very entertaining but I doubt it will hold up for me on multiple viewings.

i thought it was kinda lame... there was not enough action.. he fights for like 2 mins.. then back to talking.... boring.... bsman00

Agreed. I thought the movie was good, but it could have used more action or fight scenes.

It was bad because when Dark Knight came out, everyone was like Ironwha?

It's gonna be quite hard for a Marvel comic book movie to even get remotely close to the epicness of Dark Knight.

uh this being the first Iron Man movie, they had to spend a lot of time ESTABLISHING THE CHARACTER, setting things up, and showing how Stark becomes Iron Man. If they didn't spend time doing that, the movie would have sucked royally. And if they included more fights with the Iron Monger the movie would have been ridiculously long.
