I use to be Vegan, then over time I switched to Vegetarian, which I mainly am now. I eat some chicken and turkey, though because it helps fight off my craving during my pregnancy. Although, after the baby is born, I will most likely go back to being a Vegan because I'm going to raise my baby mostly Vegan and I don't want to hear "Well how come you do it?" Children follow almost always by example. No escaping that one.

Good for you?

I'm in charge of his health until he's older, it'd bemore wrong if I neglected it and let him "choose" to eat tons of junk food and what-not.

Humans are omnivores. Therefore I eat meat like I'm supposed to; I wouldn't want to go against my own species would I? It's survival of the fittest, people!

Yes, a balanced diet, and if you've studied anything at all about nutrition, you should know that all health benefits from meats or dairy can be found in other sources such as beans, lentils, fruit, vegetables etc.. Except for fish, which has Omega in it and cannot be found in any other food, which is why he will eat fish, and if you've done any research at all on infants, you should know that even pediatricians say they shouldn't be introduced into dairy until they're around 6 years old because it causes ear infections and all types of sicknesses because their immune systems can't handle it.

Before you give people advice on raising their children, I strongly suggest you do some research of your own ;)

Fish have a 3 second memory - Pigs are said to be smarter than dogs. Big difference. Why do you care if I care about theanimals anyway? You don't see me lecturing you on your eating habbits. Go find a new hobby, kid.

well i could careless about any animals as a matter of fact i'm just playing devils advocate. But i would think such a noble person like your self that abstains from eating meat because they get slaughtered in a warehouse somewhere would ignore the fact that just because an animal is less intelligent its ok to kill it. I hope your kid gets good grades in school. I also find it amusing that your telling me to get a hobby while your doing the same exact but a child to care for.

First of all, your last sentence didn't even make sense. And second, yes, I care about the animals and I don't want to eat them if I don't have to. Why do you care? Go lecture someone who cares. Just because you don't care for the animals, doesn't mean I can't.
