Look at my sig. I created the Gears of War Universe. It started out very active, but its died down a little. The Sci-Fi Union is brand new. I was a charter member there.

FAU, for example, is a very active union and it's been around for quite a long time now.
Unions are dead now (except for a few) because of GS's lack of support to them. I think it's ridiculous that they still have the same old layout for them. So no, I haven't made one and don't plan to make one because most likely it will die.cyberdarkkidI think the reason why most unions die is because the people who make them simply don't have enough passion to keep it alive... Make a union about your favorite video game character - but do you really have enough passion for that character to keep it alive? Probably not. I think some unions, like FAU, or the Metal Union that MrPraline brought up, are very alive and active simply because they were created by people who were passionate about their subject matter, and also attract many other people who share the same feelings towards them. I think that's what will keep a union alive. If you really love what it is you're basing your union on, then you'll do whatever it takes to keep it alive.
