my grandfather died. He was a member of the UN and fought in the second world war.BumFluff122Someday in the not-too-distant future there won't be any WW2 vets left :(
I have lost a girl that I loved alot ever since third grade and I can't get her back.SSBFan12I think he meant by death, not teenage crushes.

The point is there is no need for you to post the same story everyone already knows,in a thread dedicated to the grief over losing loved family members. You do not always have to be the center of attention.
Yesterday was my great-grandpa's anniversary of passing. :( And also my little brother's birthday. A bittersweet day indeed.in your life that meant the world to you?

But all my pets and my grandparents lived long and fulfilling lives, so im happy for them :)lobodobI try to remember that too. It is okay to be sad about losing a loved one, but it is also good to celebrate the fact that they lived, and all of their contributions.

[QUOTE="mattykovax"]My grandmother. She died on new years day,it was a tough way to start the new year.andyboiiisame here, first time I cried in yearsMe too. All her gransdons were pallbearers, and the minute we touched the casket it was like waterworks.
Every grandparent of mine has died... all from complications of smoking.Guppy507I'm sorry. I know exactly how you feel. Both my living grandparents have lung cancer due to smoking, and both my other two grandparents died due to complications of smoking as well.

There are worse ends than death. As for original question, I lost my Mum when I was way young, so maybe a couple close friends dying have stuck with me.

I dont count it because I never really knew him,it was more like an empty hole than a loss. My Gram helped my mother with me and my brother because of my dad dying. That was part of why it hurt so bad when she passed, she was like a second mother to me.

But you either fall to pieces or get stronger, so hopefully it's the latter for ya :)

Ummm... being locked in a room with the first few bars of Crazy Frog on repeat for eternity? It's a phrase... "From a fate worse than death".
