One guy got fired, then I think the rest seemed to feel uncomfortable being at Gamespot, and either moved onto other things, or went with Jeff, Giantbomb feels like everything Gamespot used to be.

Jeff got fired because... Well we don't actually know. Everyone thinks it was for giving kain and lynch a 6.5 when they were advertising that game on the site, but CNet deny that. The other 3 (along with other editors who didn't join GB after) left because he was fired (so we can guess it either was for the K&L review or another unjust reason).

Yep...actually he gave the score of 6.0, and Eidos, the company behind the game, paid Cnet to advertise it while giving it a good score....or something like that. Nevertheless, Jeff ruined that plan, and that's possibly the reason which got him fired.
