I actually find two to sometimes be easier than one, they sometimes play off of one another (at least the 3-5 age ranger's I deal with do).

Thanks everyone. I've been able to get some time to play Mass Effect when Mom and the baby are napping, but otherwise, it's shorts burst on the iPad. I'm pretty sure I won't dent my backlog for sometime, but the baby will get a good dose of gaming at some point, I have too many systems and iDevices.

My daughter is 13 days old. Came the day after Christmas. I don't game much these days but she is really chill so I could get in tons of gaming if I wanted to.

I have a 16-year old and a 5-year old. The early years with the first kid are tough and gaming was light to non-existent. By the time the second one came along, it's a breeze and I have more time for gaming.

So not just me that tries to squeeze in gaming and family life. What do your weekends look like? Mine are like this - saturday, spend all morning with the daughter, saturday afternoon, she spends the afternoon at the MIL so I can do some gaming (MILs suggestion), she comes home, we spend an hour on the wii, and then to bed. Sunday , sleep in until midday, spend 2-3 hours with daughter, spend 2-3 hours gaming whilst mrs takes her out, go to my mums, home, bed. Evenings on the weekend are mine and my mrs "alone" time. Weekdays are a different ball game, but this is how mine looks.

If someone said to me 5 years ago I'd be a dad and I would love life more than the clubbing etc, I'd have told them they were having a laugh..well...here we are...love my daughter more than anything else :D

I have 7 and 9 year old boys. I game with them. It cuts into online gaming sometimes because I need games I am able to pause if I need to break up a fight.

I am your father ! J/k lol ... Not your father, but a father> Yes, i am a dad, and a gamer part time. When i get the chance to get a minute to myself, very hard, but it is possible. Before kids, i was a full time Gamer, played till the very next morning at times during the PS1 phase. Now its hard to find time, but i try my best to make time. Cheers to all dads on GS !
