Here's something interesting: it's not worth it anymore.lo_PineI'll be the judge of what (practising) medicine is worth to me. There will always be sick people.

I think I could have done well in med school, seeing as how I've spent most of my life around doctors and nurses and find it all very interesting. Allicrombie

Bad results primarily, finals stacking up one after an other, a lot of stress...and just our faculty of medicine having (one of) the highest bars and standards in order to pass in all of europe. That last thing is actually a good thing but it's not very forgiving.
ah so there are some. but good luck with that. if you dont mind me asking, what caused the burn out?[QUOTE="dragonmaster64"]
[QUOTE="DrTrafalgarLaw"]
I am. And a few others on OT IIRC. I'm in my third year. I have a small break at the moment but in a month I'll be beginning with immunology and psychiatry & brain disorders. Had a horrible burn-out last year though so I'll be taking things easy this year.
I'm stuyding at the Erasmus Faculty of Medicine.DrTrafalgarLaw

oh i see, well good luck may it turn out betterMy ex-friend just got into medical school. He was a lazy and unorganized for the majority of his life prior to going to college... so you never know. A lot of people can't even handle getting a bachelor's degree. BenedictArnold7yes your right, stress can truly be debilitating.
