I like it, but i generally don't like the people who try out for baseball. Baseball jocks are so stuck-up it seems like. I tried out for the team sophomore year (i think i should have made it, but i was nervous) and i only liked one of the other players on the team.
I love playing baseball. I played for thirteen years, all the way up through high school.
I do not however enjoy watching baseball. I think besides the NHL, the MLB is the worst run sports organization there is. -Expansion teams have ruined the quality of baseball. -For a decade they ignored steroids and are only now doing something about it because of the negative publicity. -All of the money resides in about three ball clubs which makes for a very unbalanced league. -Lack of standardization I feel ruins the sport as well. -The regular season is way to long. With 180 games, about half of them are completely meaningless.
Those are just some of the complaints I have with baseball and why I really don't enjoy watching it.

Out of all the complaints that I have about MLB, I think the amount of games is the biggest factor. With 180 games, there is simply no reason for me to sit down and watch 90% of the games. They are all pretty much meaningless.Â
I think baseball would be better served if they shortened it to about 30 games. This would do a number of things that I think would greatly benefit the sport.
First off, it would make each game mean a heck of a lot more than they do now. More importantly, I think it would level out the playing field a little bit. After all, with only 30 games, teams would not need to have six different pitchers. Afterall, it's the bullpen that really wins games.Â
With this schedule, you would probably only need two pitchers at most. This would allow other ball clubs to get higher quality pitchers, thus making for more evenly matched teams. That's my opinion anyway.
