I like Clinton and hate Trump. I suppose if we could get two relatively decent candidates out of the deal I would be fine with the risk of losing Clinton in the process.
Clinton is the only qualified candidate in the race. It's a shame that 25 years of right-wing propaganda has so many believing in the evil cartoon version of her. :(
Yeah, she's a saint. :X
Ask some of the folks in Haiti how they feel about the Crony Clintons. Bill and Hilldabeast are as compromised as they can get.
@doozie78: Funny they blame America for so much, yet they were begging us to help them and continue to beg for out help. No one is stopping them from cutting ties with us. They are free to do as they please.
Its funny, their complain is we havnt helped enough. Umm, spoiler alert, yall are not a state of America, yall are an independent country, why the heck cant yall help yall self again?

That was more of a comment about her (and her billionaire telecom buddy Dennis O' Brien) profiting wildly from the folks down there, not to mention her helping to push down their minimum wage. She's an epic dbag.
@doozie78: Lol, aww, what she do, go down there and rob a bank? Darn you Clinton, why that country let you rob their people. How could you, you were only suppose to help create jobs like they begged you to do, not take all there money and go on vacation.
Guess you got to put the blame on someone, dont want the world to know you have no clue why your country cant fix their own problems. That wouldnt look good now would it.
What if i told you many in Haiti and South Florida love Hillary and praise all the help shes done for them and their problems. Nah...couldnt be, that dont sound right.
Yes I would like a redo. It's my mantra. Lets just forget it all and start over for the love of God! That being said I think Clinton is a poor but reasonable candidate and I think you guys should know by now my thoughts about the other guy. They are both very disliked. How the hell did it end up like this? America has problems for real. And America seems to have a large influence on the rest of the world. Just look at the influence rap music has had worldwide. I love rap music by the way (the old stuff from the Bronx mostly). Please world, quit being influenced so much by the USA already! We aren't a good influence. It wont end well for any of us.
I would prefer different candidates. Rather have obama do another term than either of these massively unqualified jokers.
I'm not an American, but can't like the majority of US citizens vote abstain or something?
lol. We already do that. Only about half of us actually vote, and that just in presidential elections. In state, local, and congressional elections, only about 1/3 of us vote. It's sad. Voting should be a requirement.
It shouldnt.
Instead of forcing people to vote, you guys should do something about the voter apathy. In the last general election, Sweden had a voter turnout of 82% and this was without any obligatory voting.

In the event of a reset, we still wouldn't get much better candidates. Politicians have long been brought out by various groups, and our political system is dominated by two parties. Both of whom are filled with lying, cheating scumbags. Some of who have criminal records, or just haven't been caught in whatever shady deals they got themselves into. A good example of this is when NYS assembly speaker Sheldon Silver, was busted on corruption charges. Almost none if any of the NY state assembly senators, commented on the allegations. As if he had blackmail on all of them.
I also did vote for Sanders during the primary in NY. So its not like I didn't try to give a fairly good candidate a shot. Even if I didn't agree with Sanders on his stance on the militarization of the police. As I see it as a threat to maintain America's ability to counter well armed; and potentially well trained criminals and terrorists. Which not even large parts of our military at home can do. Because they were disarmed a long time ago with similar liberal utopia policies. And aren't capable of defending a recruiting station against a lone gunmen unfortunately.

That would be a lot easier to do if the country weren't 20x the size and didn't have 30x the population. We still have areas without broadband!
Excuses. Back in the 19th century voter turnout in the US was in the 80% area.
Socio-economic issues are a hurdle, with poor people being unable to vote because they have to be at work instead. Republicans trying to put in Jim Crow-esque laws that have no evidence of working dont help either. Poor faith in the 2 political parties. Political alienation is another issue. With roughly 10-15% of people not voting because of protest due to that. In most european countries, including sweden, dont use a "winner takes all system", instead, everyone gets seats based on how well they performed, and this means that even if your political party loses, your vote still counts. Because your vote might jsut have won your party another seat.
The way the US handles its elections is a complete mess.
I would only be for a reset if we started over with completely new candidates. The only one I'd want to run again would be Bernie Sanders. The rest from all parties are and were pretty bad. This election is about trying to pick the least worst not the best.
I'm kind of glad that Trump got the nomination in a way. Shows you how stupid and bigoted a large segment of this country truly is. Supporting a man with no real goals, no real policies, the temperament of a 5 year old boy, and continues to spew divisive rhetoric at every turn.
Its emboldened these closet dregs of society to finally come out of the woodwork and show the world that they really do exist.
As for Hillary, not a huge fan, would have rather had Biden run to be honest.
@HoolaHoopMan: I would too, but i think Biden losing his son took a toll. I think hes ready to retire.
The GOP needs a reset button.

Not only that, it shows the hypocrisy of the so-called "patriotic" and "constitutional" party.
well, I'd like to see Bernie Sanders running instead of Hillary, though anybody on the Republican ticket would be every bit as destructive as Trump
bother candidates though are the product of the media tipping the scales
Personally, neither are great candidates, but it's what the people have chosen. No sense in hitting a "reset" button when it may have the same outcome again. I say...bring on Trump.
@MuD3: Id say Rand Paul was the best. After him would have been Jeb Bush. Then John Kasich, then Rubio, then MAYBE Trump. Big maybe.
I'd like to see 2 candidates where I didn't mind that much who won, because I don't think either could do much harm.
As opposed to the moment, where both could do a lot of harm, I'm just not sure which would actually do the most, because they're both completely unprincipled and seem to make things up as they go along (Hilary: in a coldly calculating focus-grouped manner, Trump: in a "I wonder what'll happen if I actually say that thought I just had" manner)
I'd like to have seen maybe Bernie Sanders VS Jeb Bush.
What strikes me as most interesting for people who are diehard supporters of either Clinton or Trump is that neither of them are going to be able to do anything of note without Congressional approval. Plus or minus a few seats Congress will stay the same which means more gridlock. Anyone who thinks Clinton or especially Trump is going to come in and start doing this, that, and the other thing should ask Obama how well that works. Congress has a built in incentive at this point to not do anything and no matter how much you try to bargain with them or insult them on Twitter they're not going to risk their easy jobs.

She will hopefully be president of the US, I don't want any saint. I want someone with experience, iss a shark, a cutthroat. Clinton is exactly that.
