Kinda like Ben Stiller more ( Starsky and Hutch, There is something about Mary, Tropic Thunder, Tower Heist).Love Adam Sandler's The Longest Yard only, maybe Grown Ups 1 too.
Whom you prefer more, fav movies or both none at all ? :)

Adam Sandler. His best-ever performance, and one the most memorable characters I've ever seen, is Charlie Fineman in Rein Over Me. A must-watch for everyone. And as a contrary to what you might have expected, it's not a comedy; he plays an extremely gloomy role in this one.

Indi....how old are you ?!
Adam Sandler has done the best performance of the two with 'Punch Drunk Love', but he has made far too many utterly terrible films. So I'd go with Ben Stiller because he has made funnier comedies, and even in his worst films he is still MUCH funnier than Sandler is in most of his shitty comedies - also Stiller has given some good serious performances ('Greenberg', 'The Royal Tenebaums').
What's better? Ebola or Anthrax?
Ben Stiller occasionally actually acts in movies and as a supporting character I find he's okay. Adam Sandler has only really done one dramatic role that I know of with Punch Drunk Love which I enjoyed. If I were forced to sit down and watch an Adam Sandler vehicle or a Ben Stiller vehicle all Clockwork Orage style, I guess I'd go with Sandler because while stuff like Mr Deeds or Billy Madison is juvenile and low-brow, it's never cloying.

Last time we talked about movies, you said you hadn't watched American Beauty, and now you say the same about Rein Over Me. Though I admit the latter isn't as well-known as the former, still, I was wondering, if you haven't watched any of these movies, then WHAT THE **** HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WITH THOSE 28-9 YEARS OF LIFE ?!

I don't care for Stiller. On The Secret Life of Walter Milly I kept envisioning Steve Carrell on the role which I think would had made the movie more memorable.
But then I again, I practically hate Sandler. I mean, all the crap this SOB keeps putting out is aggravating. I don't even like many of his so called "good old stuff". But he was in Punch Drunk Love which was lovely.
At gun point I would go with Stiller.

I watch tons of good movies also ( Casablanca, Ben Hur, Life is beautiful, Schindlers List, Lincoln, and many others). I miss some too, thats why i take recommendations from freinds like you. Not possible to watch each and every good movie without recommendations lol.
Ben Stiller, I wont pay to see Adam Sandler films anymore, not after crap like grown ups, thats my boy and blended. Sandler films seem to be just him and his mates pissing about.Happy Madison productions is Sandlers own studio.
Ben Stiller isnt fantastic by any means, but Walter Mitty one of his more recent films was really good.
Both are talented, and imo both have similar careers as far as funny/unfunny. Really dig any time Stiller does Tom Cruise and that fat camp flick is hilarious. Adam Sandler has some gold moments though--Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and the underrated Little Nicky--I also think Sandler was funnier on snl.

Yes, love it.
However, these days the two actors aren't doing very much worth talking about.
I love Adam Sandler's earlier movies, but Ben Stiller hasn't given up making movies that he actually cares about. Sandler on the other hand has admitted he has built up enough of a following and gained enough money to sort of goof off the rest of his life. He has even made vacations out of movies. Good for him and all for using his work as a means to enjoy life with friends, but it's a little sad for his audiences that he no longer seems to have his heart in movies. Ben Stiller at least continues to try and make good movies.
Anyone is better than Adam Sander, I'm going with Ben Stiller. Although I legitimately like Ben Stiller anyway, Starsky and Hutch was absolutely hilarious, so underrated.
I would say that Sandler have done the better acting of the two, but Stiller been much more consistant.
So I will go with Stiller, it is well and good that you have been able to portray a few roles really well, but if it is not consistant it will not mean much. Delivering a good performance every time does speak volumes for the long term.
I don't recall an Adam Sandler I've liked since Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison.
Ben Stiller is probably better. Liked him in Zoolander and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
Adam Sandler is abysmal to put it mildly. Everything about him is abysmal, his acting, his voice, how he caries himself around and that moronic smile. The sound of his voice makes me cringe and the sight of that face of his makes me jump to the remote to change the channel asap.
Stiller on the other hand is very endearing. I like him quite much although I can see people calling me bias here since Stiller isn't for everyone. He's not one of the big names of the acting world and I doubt he's that acclaimed or positively received either. But something about him makes me watch more and more of him, something warm and fuzzy.
Ben Stiller, for sure. He's awesome in "There's Something about Mary", "Tropic Thunder", and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Even his not-so-great stuff like Zoolander, Dodgeball, Duplex, Blades of Glory, etc. have a decent amount of genuine funny parts and a decent amount of heart put into the films.
Adam Sandler sucks. His humor is exclusively for 10 year olds, yet his content isn't really great for kids. Usually it involves making fun of people for being different, or something low-brow. His movies pay for themselves from the amount of advertising they insert into their films (combined with criminally low production values), so their box office is essentially pure profit, and Adam Sandler pays himself a generous fraction of whatever his movies score. He's a great businessman and con artist, but absolutely shit comedian.

Punch Drunk Love was better, and probably his best performance....Reign Over Me was just depressing and annoying.
On topic thought Sandler destroys Stiller, Stiller can only play the loser role like in Walter Mitty and Something about mary, and...every fucking movie he's ever been in.
Sandler's movies even though mostly are dumb, are still funny....Billy Madison is my favorite movie of his, its dark humor at it's best.
Tropic Thunder, Zoolander, and Dodgeball are better than any three comedies in which Sandler has been involved, so Stiller gets my vote. Bonus points for being Jerry Stiller's son.
