Who here is careless with your CD disc's like a video game or a DVD or something. The reason im saying this is because i just got back from gamestop and i wanted to play the game i got, so i pop it in and it says disc unreadable. I was upset and then i looked at the disc and it was F***ed up!! I got it used so i can save money but i was thinking who is so careless with disc's?!!!!! I mean like come on what do u do to totally destroy a CD disc like that.

I care for CDs and DVDs unless they are burnt then I still try, but no as hard. I don't really care with blu-rays becuase they are almost impossible to scratch, people use sandpaper and it does nothing to them.

I wouldn't say that I care for them. It isn't that hard to take the from the cover, into dvd/console and back again without destroying them

I have personally never understood how discs can become so damaged. Whether they be music, movie or game. All of my discs and especially my games are basically in mint condition, and I've had some from well over a decade ago. The only damage I have on some of my game discs is from use wear that comes from playing the game for hundreds of hours... but does nothing to render it unreadable.

Leaving them out on dirty surfaces does it. When I found my DVDs in my brother's room they were on a filthy surface with scratches and bits on them :|
